Sedentary Lifestyle: the Scourge of the Entrepreneur

When I left my CDI at the beginning of 2018, I had only one idea in mind: to set up my business in the field of Fitness so as not to sit all day in front of a computer. It is clear that this is easier said than done! I am indeed an entrepreneur, but I still spend a large part of my day sitting in front of my screen. Hello, the sedentary lifestyle of the entrepreneur... Besides, it is surely your case at this very moment. Sitting for a few minutes to read this article will surely do you no harm. But the longer you remain inactive, the more your body becomes “agitated”. He sits there, anxiously awaiting the moment when you will get up again and take him for a walk. Does that seem ridiculous to you? Our body loves to sit, right? Not really ! OUR BODY IS MADE TO MOVE, NOT TO SIT... And our structure proves it to us. We are made up of 360 joints and about 700 muscles, which allow us to make fluid movements.

Ditto, our blood needs movement to circulate better in the body (and so on). However, if you are like me, a web entrepreneur, you spend most of your time sitting in front of your computer. You chose this job to be free, to be your own boss, to Mobile Phone Number take vacations when you want, and not to wait until you are 80 to enjoy your life (yes, retirement at 65, don't think about it not even). But don't you sometimes feel trapped by your schedule, your addictions or just your bad habits? How many times do you say to yourself: “I would really like to do more sport” (or sport already). Or maybe you would like to meditate, eat more broccoli than Domino's Pizza, or even take time to practice Curling (this passion that you have abandoned) ? I know, it's pretty depressing. We all know that exercising regularly is good for our health, both physical and mental.



So why do we find it so hard to always want to do more? fight against the sedentary lifestyle of the entrepreneur Are we really free? I'll let Kant answer that question (I've never been good at Philosophy). In the meantime, we spend – at the very least – 10 hours sitting in front of our screens, rotting our health. Provided that we can sell in abundance to be an annuitant asap and spend our days on a Yacht in Malta. Enough with the jokes. THE HUMAN BEING IS FULL OF CONTRADICTIONS On the one hand, we want to eat healthy and on the other, we go to Mcdo every 4 mornings. On the one hand, we want to lose weight and on the other, we only eat salads with water. On the other hand, we want to be healthy and on the other hand, we stay seated and inactive for ¾ of the day. I am like you … I may be a personal trainer , read fitness articles, and know what it takes to stay healthy, but that doesn't make it easy to leave my business behind follow my advice.
